- Operating capacity now stands at 18,150 MW following the acquisition of Vidarbha Industries Power Limited (VIPL).

- VIPL is a 600 MW operational coal-fired power plant located in Butibori, Nagpur district, Maharashtra.

- APL is expanding with six brownfield ultrasupercritical power plants of 1,600 MW each.

- A 1,600 MW greenfield ultrasupercritical plant is being developed at Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.

- A 1,320 MW supercritical power plant at Korba is being revived.
