🔋 GAIL India Launches 600 MW Solar Project with 550 MWh Battery Storage in Jhansi

• GAIL (India) Limited signed a contract with TUSCO Limited to set up a 600 MW solar power project in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

• The project includes a 550 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for energy storage support.

• Solar power will primarily meet captive energy needs for GAIL's petrochemical plant in Pata, Auraiya district, Uttar Pradesh.

• It will also support additional demand from electrification of gas-based equipment and CBG plants in Uttar Pradesh.

• The project aligns with GAIL's commitment to low-carbon, sustainable energy and expanding its business in Uttar Pradesh.
