• Indegene Limited received a final income tax assessment order and demand notice for AY 2023-24 on May 5, 2026.

• The demand totals ₹43.68 crore (including interest), based on transfer pricing adjustments of ₹123.41 crore to the returned income.

• The company disputes the adjustments, stating its tax positions are well supported by facts and law.

• To resolve the matter, Indegene has filed an application under the Mutual Agreement Procedure of the India-USA Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement and will also pursue domestic appellate remedies.
