🚂 Kalyani CastTech Subsidiary Commissions New Cargo Terminal in Gujarat

- KMT Engineering Private Limited, a subsidiary of Kalyani Cast Tech Limited, has received approval from Western Railway to commission its Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT).

- The GCT is located at Shivlakha (KEGS) Station, Ahmedabad Division, Gujarat.

- Approval is granted via Western Railway's Advance Rates Notification No. 72 (Goods) of 2026 dated August 06, 2026.

- The terminal has been assigned the Alpha & Numerical Code KEGS / 08524078.

- The track capacity of the GCT is CC+8.

- The terminal is commissioned on a temporary basis for a period of six(6) months from the date of the notification.

- The operation is on a 'Non-Interlocking' and 'Non Through Distance basis' (Non-TDB & Non-EOL).

- Freight will be charged up to Shivlakha station; siding charges will apply beyond that.

- Samkhiali (SIOB) is nominated as the Nodal Station for TMS working until FOIS is installed at the GCT.

- The Global Customer Code for the terminal is KMTE.
