🌱 L&T & ITOCHU Sign Major Green Ammonia Deal: 300,000 Tonnes Annually

- L&T Energy GreenTech Ltd (LTEGL) signed a long-term partnership with Japan's ITOCHU Corporation.

- LTEGL will supply 300,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually to ITOCHU from its proposed Kandla, Gujarat facility.

- The agreement is on a captive long-term take-or-pay basis, securing demand for LTEGL's production.

- ITOCHU will use the green ammonia for bunkering applications, particularly in Singapore and other maritime hubs.

- This partnership builds on a Joint Development Agreement signed in July 2025 and advances both companies' green ammonia strategies.

- The project supports India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and aims to position Kandla as a strategic export hub for low-carbon fuels.
