🏗️ L&T Secures Major EPC Order for Coal-to-Ammonium-Nitrate Project in Odisha

• L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore secured an EPC order from Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Ltd (BCGCL), a joint venture of Coal India Ltd (CIL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).

• The project is a Coal-to-Ammonium-Nitrate initiative in Odisha, specifically the Lump Sum Turnkey Package-3 for an Ammonia Synthesis Unit.

• It aims to strengthen India's coal-to-chemicals value chain, supporting ammonia synthesis for downstream products like nitric acid and ammonium nitrate.

• L&T will handle the full EPC scope, including process license, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management.

• The order is classified as 'Significant', with a value range of ₹1,000 to ₹2,500 crores.
