ONGC & Mitsui Partner to Build Two Massive Ethane Carriers 🚢⚡

- ONGC and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) signed a Heads of Agreement on 3 July 2025.

- Partnership aims to build, own, and operate two Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLECs).

- VLECs will transport imported ethane to ONGC Petro Additions Limited (OPaL) for captive feedstock use.

- Project is subject to Board approval.
